NexAura Media ("NexAura", "we", "us") is a short-form video content agency based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This page explains what personal information we collect through nexauramedia.ca, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Brochure request form: your first name and email address, which you type in yourself.
• Messages you send us: anything you share when you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or book a call (for example your name, business, phone number and email).
• Analytics: anonymous usage data from Google Analytics (see below).
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use it

• To send you the brochure you asked for, and to follow up about our services.
• To reply to your messages and schedule calls.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

If we email you, every message includes a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They process information on our behalf and only for those purposes:

• Brevo — stores brochure-form contacts and sends our emails.
• Netlify — hosts this website.
• Google Analytics — measures site usage in aggregate.
• Google Calendar — handles call bookings when you use our booking link.
• WhatsApp — used if you choose to message us there.

Some of these providers are based outside Canada, so your information may be stored or processed in other countries, where it may be subject to those countries' laws. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and third-party links

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site (pages viewed, links clicked, device and approximate location). It sets cookies for this purpose and does not collect your name or email; we honour browsers' Do Not Track setting, and you can also block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. We do not use advertising cookies. Links to Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and other third-party sites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as they are useful for the purpose you gave them, or until you ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to further emails, at any time by writing to contact@nexauramedia.ca. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
